Hi all,

I have an 1850 tournament coming up and I am using Inquisition and need help army building.

The tournament has 5 games;

Round 1
Hammer & Anvil
PrimaryMission(Eternal War) -Big Guns Never Tire; 5 objectives (3 VP each + 1 VP per HS destroyed) Secondary Mission (Maelstrom of War) –Tactical Escalation
TertiaryMission–Slay the Warlord , Line Breaker , 1st Blood

Round 2 Vanguard Strike PrimaryMission(Eternal War)–The Scouring Secondary Mission (Maelstrom of War) –Deadlock TertiaryMission–Slay the Warlord , Line Breaker , 1st Blood

3
Dawn of War PrimaryMission(EternalWar) –The Relic 1 Relic (6 VP)[The relic is a 7thobjective not used for Maelstrom of War purposes]
Secondary Mission (Maelstrom of War) –The Spoils of WarTertiaryMission–Slay the Warlord , Line Breaker , 1st Blood

4
Dawn of War PrimaryMission(EternalWar) –Emperors Will
Secondary Mission (Maelstrom of War) –Deadlock TertiaryMission
–Slay the Warlord , Line Breaker , 1st Blood

5
Hammer & AnvilPrimaryMission(EternalWar) –Crusade–4 objectives (3 VP each)Secondary Mission (Maelstrom of War) –Contact Lost
TertiaryMission–Slay the Warlord , Line Breaker , 1st Blood

So basically the inquisition codex is pretty weak in terms of super powerful units eg wraithknights etc so my plan was to spam acoloytes and have a chimera or razorback as dedicated transports for them all and then have about 4 valkrye as dedicated transport as well. Under the rules I could have 12 units of acoloytes which means 12 transports which could be razorbacks, chimeras or valkryies.

So I was thinking of an army like

3 acoloytes-12 points
1 psyker- 10 points
razorback with assault cannon and psyammo 70points

so the above = 2 scoring units and is only 92 points. if I x that by 9 that would be 18 scoring units for under a 900 points.

Then I could have
4 joakero= 140 points
valkrye- lascannon- heavy bolters 145 points

2 scoring units including a flyer for 285 points.

I could have 3 of those units in my army which would give me a total of 24 scoring units. 9 of them being scoring tanks and 3 of them being scoring flyers.

My aim is to win the game by getting objectives and scoring more points than my opponent because I wont be able to compete with firepower etc as my codex is weak compared to tau or elder or necrons.

Any advice.

I see what you are trying to do but Space Marine Gladius/Lions Blade just does it better.

only problem is I collect inquisition :(

My aim is basically to just win the game by having so many scoring objectives that I can mass up a lot of points and avoid being tabled
