Here's a piece that I painted up for a Dark Eldar force that I've been adding to over the years.

My client had the idea of having him missing most of his skin. I'm definitely keen on adding gruesome details like that to minis.

Thanks.

I painted the muscle texture with some fleshtones over a medium red base color. It looks really pink before I added the red gloss (after he was finished and sprayed).

Awesome! That slimy, skinless muscle looks so real it's making me squirm!
I was just looking at this model for the first time the other day; I'd never delved into DatknEldar, I thought they were just Eldar with spikes, I didn't realise they had such twisted, horrific characters like this.. Now I'm thinking about making them my next army

Hellraiser was definitely a reference point for a lot of their line.
