I keep seeing people saying orks suck and that they can't compete with the prissy elves and tiny humies, but I'm certain orks are the best. Who else here agrees?

I agree. But that's just cause I love orks.

Fluff, game play, fun, mechanics, theme?

I fail to see how an army that green can fail to be the best in all aspects.

Orks are indeed the bestest. If only because they're one of the factions that facilitate (ironically to some given the faction's apparent simplicity) real hard thinkin' on how to build an army and making it work through perseverance and laughing off losses. Where spamming units is actually pretty fluffy and there's all different sorts of archetypes you can build around for Ork armies. Then you have the sheer amount of possibilities that you can have for converting and making an Ork force really personalized and distinct.

Competitively speaking, no they're not, but that's not why I play 40K to begin with, and so far I've yet to find a faction that can quite measure up to the depth and humour of Orks as a faction.

They are definetly the best looking!

That's because in a game full of D spamming MechaWraithTides, Orks can always bring a smile to any scenario if the player is up for it.

Orks were my first army back in 2nd when, lets be honest, they looked awful. Now though the models and fluff are great. The AOBR warboss is my favourite model ever. WAAAGH!

The application of "cheerful carnage" seems to strike a chord with our inner anarchist.
Heck, anything that happily keeps a squig as a pet speaks volumes.
Orks are the "best" because they cannot imagine otherwise!
