Hi guys, I'm fairly new to daemons, and I'm wanting to start playing the tetrad. However, it would probably be mostly small games right now (my friends are building their armies up still) so I was wondering if the Tetrad could be effective at low points. I know it loses a lot of power, and that taking the formation means there's only 4 models on the board, but could it also be fun for beer and pretzel matches? I'm hoping so!! So that's the format it will be played in, pretty casual, maybe taking it to small narrative events at my FLGS when I get more used to playing it. Here's the list I'm tweaking right now:

Infernal Tetrad (995 points)

Khorne Prince:
Armour of Scorn, 2x Greater Rewards

Nurgle:
Corruption, 2x Greater Rewards, Warp-forged Armour

Slaanesh:
2x Greater Rewards, Warp-forged Armour

Tzeentch:
2x Greater Rewards, Warp-forged Armour, Mastery Level 3

As a side note, I thought about flying, but I'm not really used to using flyers (although this would probably be a good way to figure it all out)

They need wings. Its the only way for them to do anything ever

Maybe for a small-scale game I could knock them down to 1 reward and do a little more shifting to give them wings?

You need to. Even if you don't fly, the ability to move 12" and jink is mandatory.

You need Psychic Levels and Wings as stated. It's really not feasible to run this formation below 1250 points unfortunately.

You basically have some crappy daemon princes and nothing else on the board, it might be sort of fun but I don't see it doing much unless someone else brings an absurdly silly list too.

Ah that's kind of depressing. Maybe I'll start pulling it out when my friends get up to 1250 point armies then. Thanks guys

This.

Anything less than 1250 really just does not work.
