Any input/opinions would be great guys, did the best to be exact with this. I used Battlescribe to create this listing, and have all the models stated, so any help/advice would be awesome. also, some of the models are magnetized(Predator, and Dreads/Brutes) so that explains the inter-changeable options. Also, just out of Curiosity how does the War Smith work, I heard he can carry other traits, so he's slightly confusing to me ha!

Any and all help would be awesome, and if you guys want the BattleScribe attatchment, let me know, I will gladly post it for you guys to inspect in better detail!

Thanks in Advance!

1) Ally in a Lost and Damned army to support your IW. They have big, cheap artillery, very cheap tarpits (mutants and zombies) and devastating anti-tank capacity. 2 Medusas with Breacher shells and 3 Rapier Laser Destroyers would complement your army well. Fluffy the LoD are IW serfs that do the heavy lifting - the traitor marines are specialists, leaders and shock troops.

2) Boys before toys. Less uppgrades. Power fist _or_ meltabombs, not both. No plasma on squad leaders with only one wound.

3) CSM squads can take two special weapons per 10 models. Drop the heavy bolters and go double plasma/melta.

4) Don't mix weapons on Havocs. 4 autocannons give a lot of dakka per point, 4 ML is flexible (and insta-kills T4) and 4 lasers is expensive but effective against everything.

5) How are you going to play? Your Dreadnaughts won't keep up with your Rhinos. CSM, even with MoS, are no assult troops (especially without an Assault vehicle). Terminators are almost impossible to use in a good way for CSM.

6) What is your Warsmith doing? Does he have any transport?

My suggestion would be to drop your elite choices (and maybe your Predators too) and replace them with LoD alternatives as mentioned above.

Hmmm... I can do that, this army is built around what I have from my tenure of collecting Chaos(So it's probably out-dated as can be). However this is just the beginning, at 2000 pts-ish this is what I have, I plan on going large to make a flexible army that when/if I find games(Not alot of areas around here to play unfortunate.) I can be flexible and bring what I feel would work for the situation but will take your advice, originally was going to move the Havoc with Rocket to a CSM squad, then move a Heavy Bolter to the Havoc's, giving me a 2 HB, 2 Las-Cannon Havoc Squad, the Dreads, though not certain, was considering Dreadclaw Drop Pods for them, that way, can deep-strike with them, but again, purely thought at this point, but, thank you for the advice, will certainly look into your suggestions. As far as the War Smith, he was a gift(sort of) from a friend who bought it not realizing it's an Iron Warriors unique thing, and couldn't use them with his Alpha Legion, so I don't know the rules of him all too well.
