Playing my friend next week and he's bringing his space wolves. We've agreed on 2K and we're both pretty competitive. We wrote our lists simultaneously last night and sent them to one another. I was surprised at what he wrote. I'll list it roughly,

Company of the great wolf. Wolf Lord is some King of relic terminator armour, 4x dreads of differing types, TH/SS terminators, 4x Thunderwolves cav. Then he has some formations, 1 with a land raider, vindicator and iron priest, and one with Njal and another rune priest.

So, I wrote this oblivious to what he was bringing. He normally brings wulfen, and a load of TWC and a stormwolf etc. I normally play him with my eldar, I told him I was bringing daemons but I think the thought my daemonkin. But I've been working on pure daemons. Here's my list.

Chaos Daemons Formation: Infernal Tetrad
Tzeentch Prince, wings, lvl 3, impossible robe, 2 GR, 1 LR, warlord
Khorne Prince, wings, armour of scorn, 2 GR, 1 LR
Nurgle Prince, wings, armour, lvl 3, corruption, 2 GR
Slannesh Prince, wings, armour, lvl 3, 2 GR, 1 LR

Chaos Daemons CAD

HQ - Fateweaver
HQ - Tzeentch Herald, lvl 3, disc, exalted reward (grimoire of true names)

Troops - 10x pink horrors
Troops - 3x nurglings

Fast attack - 3x screamers

2k on the nose.

I don't have much else to play with at this time. I have a bloodthirster, a burning chariot of Tzeentch and 10 bloodletters and that's about it for pure daemons. Oh and Be'Lakor. But considering what he's taking this should do ok-ish. I'm concerned how much armour he has.

Be'lakor synergize with thr Tetrad a bit better. Guaranteed shrouding is pretty awesome. Invis handy too.

I'd try to make a cut to get it. You can drop Corruption and the LR from Slaanesh to get close.

Edit: in case this was too vague I meant replace Fateweaver with Be'lakor.

Yeah, see this was one of the tougher choices I had to make. Most of what I've read is split 50/50 as to who is better with the Tetrad. My instincts tell me Be'Lakor but fatey offers so much. Fatey also gave me 50 extra points to play with. I'll have to have a think.
