Painted these for my 30k before I realised my mistake... No Deathwing in 30k :(

Forgeworld Contemptors will have to take their place and I will use these in my 40k instead.

I prefer a darker brown/grey when painting my Deathwing as I'm not a fan of the buttery style of GW. Will try and take some better pics in daylight as they're a lot greyer IRL. Hope you like, names on the scroll still to do and will revisit another day, all in all these 3 took about 4 hours after the primer had cured.

It's ok. Contemptors can probably maneuver better in space hulks. Provided he corridors are large enougo of course. Superb weathering. Very nicely done on the weapons, the paint scheme... Everything really. They are awesome. Are they BaC? Because good job with the the part lines on the legs too.

Yep they're BaC, thanks for the nice comments. They're not bad on the joins but not brilliant. I tried to go for a weathered old bone look. Never been a fan of the butterball Deathwing.

They're very simple changes, just a razor saw cut here and there. So easy to work with plastic

Deathwing are in 30K, they just weren't painted up in bone until after they cleaned out that genestealer infestation on Azrael's homeworld. They also had a different purpose to the one they have in 40k. As did the Ravenwing.
