Hey,

Currently painting the librarian from Space Hulk for a competition next week, only just started so it's still early days, though I'm looking at his axe and wondering how to paint it. I know of blended colours, edge highlighted "scolding hot" appearances, and nmm techniques (or rather, I've seen them, I can't necessarily say that I've done them with any real success before).

I wondered if you guys could post a picture of your favourite paint job or style utilised on a blade? It doesn't have to be an axe, a GW model or whatever - juat show me as many different styles, colours, and techniques as you can. I'm juat looking for inspiration at this point, I likely won't get to the blade til later this week.

Cheers!
