Just bought some Chaos Bikes to add to my Daemon army and thought I'd try them out in a 750 point local tournament next week. Opponents range from ultra-competitive to Dark-Vengeance-plus-a-couple-of-other-boxes. Here's what I'm thinking:

Herald Of Tzeentch with ML3, Paradox & Exalted Reward (probably the Portaglyph) [150]
12 Pink Horrors [108]
11 Pink Horrors [99]

Gorepack
6 Flesh Hounds [96]
6 Flesh Hounds [96]
3 Chaos Bikers with 2 Meltaguns and Champion with Combi-melta & Melta Bombs [111]
3 Chaos Bikers with 2 Flamers [86]

That's currently running at 746, so 4 points spare. Currently building the bikers, so it's not too late to adjust their load-out. I have plenty of other options for the daemons. I haven't run Chaos Bikers before, so I'm a little unsure of the best loadout for them. I actually have three more and plan to build a second melta unit with those for bigger games.

The plan is to be fairly aggressive with the Gorepack and use the Horrors, Herald and Portaglyph to summon stuff, hopefully making use of the Paradox staff to increase my chances of getting those mastery level 3 powers off.

The Herald can't exchange his exalted reward for the portalglyph because he already has one Helforged Artefact (Paradox ). I'd maybe exchange it for the Exalted Locus of Conjuration for some stronger witchfire.

Second thing I'd consider is to remove the flamers from the bikes and go double melta on them too. Drop the combi melts on the other champion to do it. Should have the points with that exchange and the exalted locus.

I read that you can take one of the new Hellforged Artefact (the Paradox) in addition to an Exalted Reward, but hadn't noticed that this precluded you from swapping that reward for a Portaglyph because the Portaglyph is also classed an a Hellforged Artefact. So will need to rethink that. So need to decide if I want to drop either the Paradox or the Portaglyph which frees up 25 or 30 points. But will probably keep the Paradox just because I haven't tried it before.

Why two Attack Bike units with meltaguns? At 750 points, a number of armies I'll be up against might not even have vehicles, so I was thinking two may be overkill. Having a couple of flamers is cheap and helps me out against hoard armies. At least that was the plan. Is it because you think I'll probably end up jinking with my bikes most of the time? Sounds like you're not keen on combi-meltas, but what about melta-bombs. I love my melta-bombs in 30k, but that meta is more vehicle (and armoured ceremite) heavy.

I was planning on using my warp charge for summoning rather than witchfire. I'll have three sources of flickering fire as a back up, but if everything goes to plan, I don't think I'll ever get to use the Exalted Locus.

how you can use demons CAD and a formation coming from KDK codex? For me 2 meltas could be fine, just be careful if you face walkers and you lost your melta bikes, then hounds will be unable to handle walkers. You cant have two hellforged artifacts on same character so or paradox or portagliph.

I like it. Would probably cut the exalted reward for more hounds.

Two different Detachments. They are Battle Brothers so no issues there.

Thanks for all the feedback people. This is the latest version of what I'm going to run:

Herald Of Tzeentch with ML3 & Paradox [120]
11 Pink Horrors [99]
11 Pink Horrors [99]

Gorepack
5 Flesh Hounds [80]
5 Flesh Hounds [80]
5 Flesh Hounds [80]
3 Chaos Bikers with 2 Meltaguns [96]
3 Chaos Bikers with 2 Meltaguns [96]

750 points dead-on! I haven't run anything from the Daemonkin Codex before (or CSM for about six years), just Daemons and my 30k Heresy army, so any advice on tactics and strategy would be really welcome.

Looks pretty solid. I might steal it for 750 point games Too bad you can't fit an Exlated Locus of Conjuration. Tactics are pretty simple I think:

1. Roll your pink horrors all on Daemonology. Swap for summoning unless you get Cursed Earth. If you have the models Incursion, Sacrifice, and Possession are all good too.

2. Herald can also roll Daemonology. But you may want to get Prescience from Divination, or roll a power or 2 on Change for more witchfires. Since he has Paradox you definitely want summoning on the Herald.

3. Scout your hounds forward and in your opponent's face. Flank the bikes around to pop vehicles and be a pain. Remember they have Move Through Cover with the formation so just plow right through terrain.
