Dear Dakka,

What with the upcoming festivities I have the chance to actually go to a store and do some stuff on the 16th. Chief among my interests is this:

The Gauntlet: Bring your mightiest heros of the chapter and test your skill, strength, and resolve against three servants of the lost and the damned!
But this is not the end for anyone that strike down all three, must then battle each other to decide who is truly the best warrior.

So, given the above (admittedly vague) brief what would you guys go for.

NB: Although I play Templars I have quite a large selection of named characters from most chapters, decent stand-ins for the rest, and even have a couple of filthy witches knockin around somewhere.

Cheers

What exactly ARE the rules?

That said, an Iron Hands Chapter Master is usually the best generic bet.

Smashfether would beat out all, if his rules are still legal, as his combination of wargear and special rules just makes him utterly ridiculous to put down, AND he can chase down any other generic characters with his bike.

Below that, I would rank the TWC Wolf Lord, since Thunderwolves.

In terms of Cost Effectiveness, a Librarian might be able to beat out one of those by being cheaper and more effective, but if it's an all out brawl, I'ma put my money on one of the above two.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Cheers. It's a bit unclear from the rules of the thing but I will give smashfether a go!!

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.
