Well, come one come all, Grandpapa Nurgle has a new game for everyone!


This week, I begin planning the Garden of Nurgle Diorama game, a playable diorama game project for next years Adepticon. The idea - I want to make a 5 foot tall diorama of Nurgle, all old grandpa style, sitting around his cauldron. He would be surrounded by a multilevel, Necromunda style garden-palace that is rotting away. Your objective will be to start at the base and take one of the multiple gross and nasty routes to reach the top of papa Nurgle and save the relic!

The idea is to make 500pt kill teams that will fight daemons, obstacles, traps and tricks, in a board game style to reach the top! Once you reach the top, you slide down his tongue with the relic to the finish line (Indiana jones) back at the bottom of the cauldron!!! But beware! certain spaces and traps will randomly whisk you off to another part of the map (chutes and ladders), or worse yet, you land on a vomit space and nurgle spews forth his froth, resetting everyone back to the start! (tornado Rex) There will be secondary goals, like "Bee Keeping" - disturb the plague drone hive and survive or "All I want is to be your friend" - play with the beasts of Nurgle for a turn and survive. The main goal is to get the relic and get out (based off a 40k fluff story with the Firehawks) but if you just want to kill daemons, youll have plenty to do! At the top of each of the horns will be a special objective (earning Adepticon/13th legion Realted swag). Sketches have begun and I will post progress at the end of each week.
