Hey guys.

I'm looking for some help on building a new list. Aiming for 1800 but presented 1735 to hopefully leave some wiggle room for changes. Could blow out to an even 2000, although IIRC where I intend to play mainly runs 1500-1800pt games. I just need a list to work off. I mainly follow the modelling/painting side of the hobby so I don't really know the down low on making lists. I threw some stuff together that includes some of the squads I own but it's definitely horrible. My only constraints are I'd like to follow an airborne theme for the most part, the list must include the two squads of storm troopers and the Knight. I also own a manticore that I'd like to mix in there somehow but I would be fine with leaving it out of the mix (It's a relic of bygone meta, I don't really know if it's still viable). The troops section is pretty fluid, I haven't really locked anything in there. I've got a few generic squads painted up that can be assigned to whatever I want.

The idea is for the vets to be mounted in the valks and dropped onto vehicles or objectives, hence the one squad with shotties, the scions are supposed to be elite infantry killers, manticore for some arty and the knight to be a distraction/damage dealer. The vendetta is there to kill tanks or aircraft.

Some things I'm unsure about include my guardsmen, the number of ground vehicles in use and the type of knight I'm using. I've heard guard armies that are too elite are terrible, which is why I think I need to get a bigger blob of normal guardsmen? Do I need more tanks/taurox in the list? Are there any formations I could go for? I've got some sentinels too, are they worthwhile including in a list?

If worse comes to worst, I could use my stormtroopers as vets rather than scions, although I would like to have some stormies in the list if at all possible.
