Subject: Question regarding painting a pre-heresy Imperial Fist Apothecary
I'm starting a project of painting a Horus Heresy army and I'm trying as much as possible to follow the fluff regarding armour colors and designs of my chosen Legion: the Imperial Fist. But regarding the colour scheme of the Apothecaries, I'm not a 100% sure on how they should be fluff wise.
Should they be painted as:
A - Like in 40k; white armour with one shoulder pad with the colour of their legion
or
B- Yellow armour and white shoulder pads?
The reason I'm not sure is because there is a good mix between the two online.
from what I've seen in the black books so far: it's personal taste. I've seen it anywhere from a white torso, to white shoulder pads, to no real difference between an apothecary's scheme and a regular legionaries scheme.
I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.
