So the Dark Angels hold the Rock very close to their hearts (since it contains their Primarch and all), so what would they do if 'Nids and/or Orks infested it, since it's virtually impossible to truly eradicate an infestation of either of these, what would the Dark Angels do?

Great Storyline in the making I think.

I do believe though it would be very difficult to accomplish. Although the Rock is Massive (Space Station Planet style), I think it would be difficult for crash points that wouldn't be purged almost instantaneously due to the vast majority of the Rock be inhabited by warrior-class tenants. I wouldn't underestimate the power of the Watchers in the Dark either.

Not sure anything would even get close since the Rock holds not only the masses fire power of the Dark Angel's Chapter but also often a number of successor chapters. Having said that it might get the Lion out of bed so I'm all for it!

Its possible to clear out both infestations, so it wouldn't be too much of a problem, call up a few DA descendants, and it'll be over quick

Doubt the Nids would infest it. Aside from the actual SM in there, it's not much to feed off of organic matter wise.

Now, if the Orkz got in there, whole different story. Assuming they took it by killing or driving off the DA, they'd have access to some of the most powerful weaponry in the Imperium.

Actually, that'd be a great story if a Warboss took over the Rock and then Lion El woke up to kick him off it.

I like the Orks taking it...they could paint it blue. My guess is Something would have to call most of the defenders away, then a Rok, or a Space Hulk Just happens to appear...

If all the orks gathered and believed the Lion was just taking a nap and was going to wake up normally like other humans. I bet he'd wake up.
