Hey guys,
I was just wandering: Are there any psykers that are typed as or called Navigators?
Because I know there are Astropaths which can be taken (at least) with IG, and then there's all the other big ones like Librarians, Primaris Psykers, etc etc. But is there are Navigator-type psyker on the tabletop?
Cheers guys

Navigators are more-so intended for piloting starships through the Warp. They'd probably stay on their ships as they're too valuable to risk in ground combat. I'd be very surprised to see a Navigator on the tabletop.
Might see them in Battlefleet Gothic though?

HH has one, not actually a psyker but has pseudo-psyker abilities that are super cool.

The closest thing I can think of are the Corsair Void Dreamers. The Eldar Psykers who pilot the Corsair ships. Forgeworld released a model and rules for them.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Fair enough. I'm mainly curious to know if there are any such Navigator Psykers in the Armies of the Imperium Forces. Until a couple of weeks ago when I looked at my mate's 6th Edition IG Codex, I didn't even know that players could take Astropaths haha.

Actually, there are rules for navigators in Horus Heresy.
With a little agreement from your opponent, I don't see any reason you couldn't use them in 40k in casual games (the Archeotech Pistol is a bit Plasma Pistol-ish; master crafted and doesn't get hot, but only S6 AP3)

I remember seeing this about a year or so ago. It just screams to be part of a special mission/campaign.

generally the answer is "no" though, a Navigator has one job, and that's to guide a ship through the warp. not terriably useful on the ground, an astropath though is basicly the medium for FTL communications in the IoM and thus is potentially gonna be useful for a regimental command staff

I think the closest you might get for the Space Marines would be a Codicier Librarian since they're about planning out the war and strategies to be employed, then you'd think they'd also play a navigational role of some sort
