Hey everyone so it dawned on me, that since the dark angles terminator box comes with some many more bits and bobs, what extra pieces would you need in order to squeeze out 2 terminators from that box?

If iirc, i think i would be able to squeeze a knight squad, and a command squad from that box, but i would need the following items to do so

5 right arm
5 terminator backs
5 terminator legs.

Can anyone else confirm this? want to verify before i go bit shopping.

To many unpainted models to count.

I can confirm, as that's exactly what I've done.

Some notes:
The backs from "standard" terminators will fit (cheaper on bits sites), but will leave a gap between the circular bit behind the head and the top case. Hardly noticable, and easily green-stuffed. Also note the back vents are different shape.

Might not need 5 right arms, depending on what heavy weapon you give them.

The Dark Angel's Veteran sprue includes a terminator legs and a terminator storm bolter and assault cannon right arm (plus a terminator power sword left arm). Not sure if it is still for sale, but it might be included in the veterans box?

No backs, but the backs would probably be pretty easy to make out of plasticard if you could find something to look like/cover where the vents should be. Cable ties have the right kind of texture if you found one the right width... Or you could add cloaks?

I think you'll find that by the time you fill up your cart with the necessary bits to make five more termies, you'll realise that its probably comparable to buying an entire new kit. Most bitz sellers are savvy enough to understand what people tend to be looking for (termie legs). SM termies with SB/PF are pretty easy to find cheaply on eBay by people breaking down larger boxed sets.
