I want to make some mounted pestilens skaven and was hoping to enlist some idea help. The mounts would be giant rats or wolf type creatures.
Any thoughts on what kits I can bash together?

I'd say the dire wolves from vampire counts are good as they do have a good deal of bone, exposed muscles and broken skin and fur that can be worked with some green stuff into a believable giant rats/wolves. They look plagued enough, since the Pestilens tend to show quite some exposed bone.

Definitely. I was thinking of them as well but how do I put a rider on them?
I thought that I could cut a plague monk in half at the waist for the upper half of the body but I can't figure out how to make the legs.

Goblin wolfriders, if they're still on sale. I think they're the old rider model with head-torso-arms-legs bitz, plus they got other wolfy bitz and weird shields.

Mebbe this will help some?
