Hey all, just finished painting my first imperial fist space marine, I think he turned out pretty well, I know he is a bit darker than typical but this is the look I was going for with the bright highlights to really contrast and stand out. What do you guys think?

I think the yellow highlight is a bit to bright.

Looks really good. I like the bright highlights.

Yellow is a tough color. I would thin the paint a bit more next time and also reapply the base coat after your wash on the flatter areas of the miniature.

I can't really tell from the pic but it doesn't like you highlighted the gun.

Looking good. I've found it adds a lot of life if you highlight the helmet along the brow and the eyes.

I love the chest eagle. I always prefer silver or gray over red. Good job on your first IF!

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.
