Ok just getting into Eldar... Haven't bought the models yet but I was thinking of buying this list.... I want to make sure it will work before I drop the $1000 and get it.

Please give me advice, am I too spammy to be competitive.... Can this take on Tau Riptides, Gladius/Battle Company, and Necron Wraith Spam

CAD
Farseer on Bike w/singing spear and spirit stone
7 Scat Bikes (for Farseer and Warlock conclave to hide in)
3 Scat Bike

Wasn't sure if I need to put some Wraithguard with D-Scythes or Vaul's Wrath Support Battery D Weapons in this list to help with that.

If I understand you corrcectly, you plan to have the Warlock Conclave join a Scatbike squad? They are not ICs. The Farseer can join the Conclave, but I am not sure if that is really worth it.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Non ITC rules or not, be sure to magnetize the WK's arms for both sets of D-cannons and the sword and shield. I find that the h2h WK is going to have more opportunities to roll Destroyer dice than the 10 to 12 shots throughout a game's 5 or 6 turns.

Can't go wrong with 30 spiders. I have that many.

Loads of scatbikes are great, too.

I run eldar much like you have above. From Scatbike spam, to spider spam (currently). I've run the seer council, too, all within the last year. *My* big issue, is I'm not finishing enough turns in tourney time. I have many scatbikes and the 30 spiders. And one farseer. 2 hours and 15, I'm only reaching the end of Turn 3. Opponents have Battle Co or Necron reroll s . I do tend to gab and talk, but I'm an eleven year veteran and have been tourney playing for 4+ years. But there's just too much jsj, and psychic dice to play this much MSU and finish in decent time.

With what you've got planned, I'd be surprised to see you finish a game in 3 hours, based on how fast *I* would manage.

If you're headed for tourney play, as powerful as this list is (yes, it can take on the enemy lists you've posted), you'll have to weigh the time factor in with your local tourney's rules on finishing times.

this statement makes no sense.

Wraithguard need a substantially different list to support them. D-scythes ought to have the Dark Eldar WWP with a Raider. H2h wratihguard ought to have Baharoth and farseer support for Hit and Run and other buffage, which will take away a lot of spider points ... I've seen a wraithguard list in action in the hands of a multiple GT winner.

'Course, that 'list' wins, because it's commanded by a damned smart player.

the short:
If you've got the cash to buy all this, great. Be aware it'll be a long, pleasant garage/basement game. And too short a tourney finisher.

So what you are saying is that a good list but a hard one to finish the game....

Do you think I will be competitive in Eternal War Missions?

Precisely. However, if you're not playing tourney, then no big deal.

For the objective based ones, yes. Loads of ObSec and tons of mobility, this type of list excels at Mealstroms, Emperor's Will & Big Guns.

Scouring yields up the Fast Attack points and Purge is hard on MSU lists like yours.

Relic is an almost AutoWin for jetbike lists. Drop Pods being the hardiest counter.
