So I built this guy like 14 years ago to act as a 28mm equivalent of my Inquisitor scale (54mm) Blood Angel Captain, BUT, I never finished him because in that OVER A DECADE LONG stretch of time I never had reason to field a captain, like, for any reason. Even as a 'counts as' model. So, I finally made the leap to 30k, couldn't be happier, re-geared the guy a bit to make him look more 30k-ish, and am using him as a Praetor with a master crafted paragon blade where relics aren't allowed, and a photonic blade where they are. Boom. Feels soo good to finish a model that I started when I was a wee lad.

Nice, that's pretty cool with the damage to the helmet and corresponding scar over the eye. Nice job.

Thanks! I actually magnetized the wrist so he can be armed with a variety of gear, like a bolter or a volkite charger, or a storm shield in the unlikely event of me playing 40k. If he's equipped with a pistol tho, then he just holds his damaged helmet. The nice thing about holstered pistols for characters is they can be whatever rrrr you wantttttt
