I bought a couple of the Rock Golems to practice painting flesh on and paint will not stick to these models.
I read the online instructions and decided to prime them anyway with Krylon Primer and left them for a couple of days before base coating them. I used Citadel acrylics, but even if my finger nail touches them gently it peels off a big chunk of paint and primer.
I washed them before Priming as I always do, let them dry completely, etc.
Since I'm just practicing on them, it's no biggie, but I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Don't use spray primer. I'd wash them clean, and apply a base coat of acrylic from the pot.

Damn. It said on their site you can use whatever you use on your other miniatures to prime.

Yeah, I've had great results with craft paint very lightly watereed. Bones is insanely hydrophobic and won't take most thinned paints as a base coat.
It's a a great material, but it's a bit temperamental.

I second the brush priming. Bones plastic does not take spray priming AT ALL.
It's a nuisance, but for the monetary savings it's worth a little extra effort.

I've got 2 bones figures - both larger ones (not the 25mm infantry stuff). A dragon and a large winged daemon thing. One was original KS, the other was wave 2.
Both took spray primer fine - it didn't rub off or scratch off (duplicolour sandable auto primer from a local auto parts place).

You might also/alternatively want to try the Vallejo PU-basecoats. Since they effectively put a second skin on the models, once the coat shrink-dried, you can paint away without problem. It also has the advantage of being a bit flexible/stretchable, i.e. it does not chip easily.

Spray priming onto PVC is always a crapshoot. Sometimes it works great, sometimes it doesn't stick, and sometimes you're left with a surface that is permanently sticky.
Spray paints and primers have a variety of solvents and VOC's and there's no telling how each will react with the PVC. I've not had this problem with any HIPS or metal figs.
I recommend brushing Gesso onto them after washing. Sometimes Gesso will take two coats to fully cover, but I've found that it bonds well and gives no problems.
