Been an avid DE player since 3rd edition, but took a hiatus after 5th to pursue some other games. I posted a list a month or two back and have gotten a few games in with it, but felt like I struggled a bit w/armor and my Dark Artisan while really tanky and a safe place to keep my warlord was generally just kited around and only made its pts back one game, so it's back to drawing board. Please let me know what you think!

Well I would drop the prows on the raiders and take a night shield. 3+ jink to get your harlies etc across the board is too good. Also enhances aerosailes means a turn 1 move across the board so a turn 2 charge. I also for harlies like all embrace (impact hit one) with a caress on the troop master.

Well, I can tell you that you don't need HWG on the jester and seer in the troupe, because if they can't separate, there's not really any way to use all 3 except in melee...and most vehicles will just be toast anyway with all your melee attacks.

Drop all the HWGs except on the jester, and I would maybe try to get one of those 2++ shields on the DE HQ? it's really quite nice to combo with the harlies on the charge to tank the overwatch. you could drop the Rose on the TM for a caress without much impact on his damage, and drop one or both of the fusions to make space for it.

Also, as icelord said, nightshield over prow.

Firstly, I was really hoping you had allied in actual grots with your DE, something about that seems so hilarious to me...one being the epitome of edgy cool dudes and one being well, grots. But then I saw what you meant.

My question about your list is where do the succubus and haemonculous end up? Unless I'm reading it wrong every transport is spoken for and filled to the gills. Or for the grotesques is that 4 including a aberration? I don't have my codex/battlescribe on hand to check...

Thank for the responses, the succubus and the haemi each ride with a unit of 4 grotesques. I took the shock prows to go with all the negatives to LD (between freakish spectacle, the armor of misery, and mask of mirrors) I thought tank shocking might be a good to cause units to run. The rose on the troupe master, is a combination kiss and embrace. The hwg on the deathjester and the Shadowseer, are "just in caae " button, I could easily take those off and put nightshieds on the harlie's ride. Thanks for the good ideas guys!
