Recently had a game of DA vs SW. DA Librarian targets Wulfen already engaged in CC w/ its unit w/ Terrify, which forces a Morale Check at the end of the Psychic Phase.
1. Does the fact its in close combat and needs to lose combat to fail a Morale Check mean the Wulfen auto-pass it?
2. If not and the unit fails, does the DA side get a chance to Sweep, or does Sweeping only ever happen during Assault?
I know the latter situation doesn't make sense as its better to allow the unit to just run off, but the second question applies more to units that don't have ATSKNF and could get swept.
1) Well Locked in Combat states "Units that are locked in close combat do not take Morale checks or Pinning tests caused by shooting attacks and cannot go to ground; they are much too focused on fighting to be worried about being shot at!" It doesn't state anything about from any other causes like Maledictions.
2) Morale states that when you fail a Morale Check, you Fall Back. Assault Phase states that if a unit Falls Back from Combat, the enemy gets to make a Sweeping Advance. Keep in mind that Terminators cannot make a Sweeping Advance.

Wulfen makes a Morale check. If he fails, he falls back. His enemies, if they can make Sweeping Advances, may attempt to do so. I'm not sure if Wulfen have ATSKNF, which would then come into play, as I don't play puppies.
