Geokensis -
#4 WC1 blessing, 24″. Single unit. Give MTC and Ignore cover to all weapons. Unit is also able to shoot on a unit WITHOUT LINE OF SIGHT, only the range matters
ITC specifically says nothing over 5" that ignores cover. With #4 from Geo, you can make anything ignore everything cover and terrain related. Just need range. So, what tempaltes out there are 7" or bigger? Did this just ruin ITC rulings?

That restriction only applies to Super Heavy LoW choices. Its not a general game restriction. Besides we've already had ignore cover apoc blasts in ITC (Perfect Timeing + Edlritch Storm)

Is there a reason you're asking this here and not on some ITC specific forum?
|
"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Still gotta roll it pre-game, cast it on an important unit before they or the casters get killed, not get denied, hit, wound, get past invulns, and keep your Libby(s) away from my podded culexus.
Not unbeatable, but a pretty good power yeah.
And as said above, the restriction was referring to super heavies with super giant ignore cover blasts. They at the very least want to make you spend points on psykers to have that kind of combo going on a unit that the enemy army may not be able to kill at all.

If you are using itc rulings, then it breaks the power, not the other way around.
If you were to cast it on a super heavy with 10" blast, iitc would allow you to fire without line of sight, but would still not allow ignores cover

For one, this is probably not the right thread, as YMDC is meant for rules issues. At best, this pertains to a specific tournament format that may be presented with an issue.
As it stands, I don't see it. The rules for the ITC have "any model that has easy access to....". Rolling for a random psychic power and then casting it on a second unit is not "easy access". It's a proposition that, for a ML3 psyker, will allow them to get the power 1/2 of the time (and still fail to cast sometimes)
