Were you going to do a water feature on the base? I know you are planning a nature theme, but forget if you mentioned that.

If you were planning on doing a lake, you might want to get some paint in before you glue that base together. You could do some neat layered effects by painting little dashes of color for minnows swimming under the surface, but above the lake bed.
