Okay, here is my question to the community at Large. Going through all the art of the different Titan Legions that I have I've noticed several of them have an alternate color scheme, most notably the warp Runners having both blue and yellow/white and a blue with basically hot rod flames.
Now my question is, how far would those color schemes be Divergent based on the independent princeps of each Titan assuming they stick relatively close to the primary colors of their respective legion?
Or more specifically:

What you're looking at in terms of colour schemes are, in effect, different heraldry marks. For example, the underlying colours of the Warp Runners is a deep blue and a gold yellow (typically the head is coloured yellow) with the solar eclipse motif. The metal edges are a deep gold colour. The extra marks such as the stripes, check patterns, flames and mixtures of chevrons is unique to each individual titan. For the best example, see this: You'll see that each Titan shares the blue and yellow colours, but no Titan has the same mixture of markings or chevrons. As for your Titan below, it's close to being a Warp Runners titan, but the head isn't coloured Yellow and the metal is silver and not gold. I'd say that your Titan is closer to the Legio Victorum known as the Foe Slayers. Here's an old picture of one from the old 2nd Codex Titancius book from Titan Legions - I've not seen any other official colours for a Titan beyond that Edit: Also, there's Legio Tempestus that yours is even closer to: Your colouration of the blue matches closely to the jagged blue pattern. All other colours match nicely from the grey/silver metal and the black and white check pattern.

Thank you very much. That is exactly the kind of answer I was hoping to get.
Context for the question:
I originally did the paint job with Legio Tempestus in mind, imitating it as close as I could but trying to keep it unique. However I was getting comments for it being confused with a Warp runners titan or "Warp Runners Painted Wrong".
So I figured I would see what the community at Large here thought when seeing it.

Titans can be radically off color to their Legion colors, due to many reasons, so being off-color is no issue. Titan colors denote history, iconography denotes affiliations, and battle scars denote glory. Each Titan is it's own "God-Machine", a walking shrine to the Omnissieh that worships in the heart of battle.
Poetry aside, write your Titan's backgroubd to include why it wears those colors, rather than trying to fit it in somewhere.

If I'm honest, I saw your Titan and it didn't look like a Warp Runners Titan. For some reason, I went with Legio Victorum. But then I remembered Legio Tempestus and that is your colourscheme to a T.
As an aside, Legio Tempestus has one of my favourite colour schemes and if you get a chance and haven't already done so, flip through Horus Heresy Book IV: Conquest - it's got colour schemes and details on a Tempestus holdfast. As an aside, remember that Forgeworld's can also have vassal domains. Angstrom being one of the more remembered vassals of Ryza - they even have a Legio Crucius maniple permanently stationed there. Your Titan could be from one such Vassal Forgeworld with a slight variant in colours, but still true to the parent legion.

Thanks for all the help and information, it's been a tremendous help and it's greatly appreciated. I think I'll look into the vassle world's idea for sure.
