Time to vote on what we'll be painting next month!

Everyday Hero: The model should be one of your army or faction's basic troops, such as a Stormcast Liberator, an Ork Boy or PanO Fusilier ect. Models from more 'elite' or specialist squads will still be permitted, but characters or commanders are not.

Big Guns Never Tire: The model must be carrying some significant firepower. Anything goes from a pair of Grots comically trying to wield a Lascannon to a mighty Baneblade superheavy tank, a Dwarf engineer with a collection of blunderbusses to a great cannon or trebuchet. Dakka Dakka Dakka!

In The Wars: The model should show signs of being in heavy fighting. This could be conveyed through model choice, posing, injuries, weathered equipment ect. or any other way you can think of.

Supporting Cast: The model should be one with a non-combat role, such as a medic, standard bearer, spotter, general or engineer ect. Note these models may still carry weapons, but preferably posed and painted as to not be using them.



As usual, poll will run for 2 days, so what do we want to paint in May?

Just put together some 30k consuls who I want to paint, so voted for supporting cast. But I have something for every option, so whatever works!

Everyday hero gets my vote - got lots of grunts to paint and not much else that fits for my CSM/KDK army.

Yah hopefully that wins it.

Would a servitor with multi-melta gun be considered as big guns?

Think most people propably have basic troops that deserve some Attention for a change.

I quite like everyday hero, but I have no strong feelings toward any of these.
Think I'd struggle with the battle damaged one, as most of my models aren't weathered, just dirty.

Supporting cast... I need some motivation for a Blood Angel Sanguinary Priest.

Yep, big guns. Got a Lascannon Tarantula I'm keen to have a crack at.

Seems like its gonna be a close one this time round!!

The temptation to try and do a Reaver in 28 days very nearly outweighs my laziness.

As someone who tends to only enter giant things, I am actually hoping Big Guns doesnt win this time and I can go for something smaller, heh.

Ive always got something to fit the bill, I just dont want to paint another titan sized mini so soon, lol.

I voted for everyday hero as it'll give me incentive to paint my keisotsu which would bring my up to half of my jsa painted.

I voted for Everyday Hero, but I could probably figure out something for any of them. Let's see:
Everyday Hero: I've got so many mooks to paint it isn't funny. I will probably do 5 Chaos Space Marines for my Khorne Daemonkin army if it wins.
Big Guns: I've got a Riptide and a Ghostkeel that need some painting love, and both of them have big guns, so I'll probably knock one of them out.
In The Wars: I could probably do my Warp Talons, or perhaps even some simple Bloodletters, for this one, as they usually get into the thick of it with the enemy. I'll have to use some Blood for the Blood God paint to make it look like they've done some wet work recently...
Supporting Cast: I might be able to count a Tau Ethereal as a non-combatant, as they usually don't participate in battles in the fluff.

I went for everyday hero, I thought it would be interesting to see peoples takes on the more basic units that aren't as glamorous as the big leaders and bosses.
