Howdy Dakkanauts, I've been a loyal marine player for about 6 or 7 years now and I'm ready to try something new so I've been looking at Tau. I've made the start of a test list and want to have some opinions on where to expand from here, I'm looking to build a decently competitive 1850 list, nothing LVO worthy but just enough to keep up in my local meta (Usual winners are warp spider spam and War Convocation.) I'm not against using FW models either. I have actually been considering buying a supremacy armor suit.

Stim injector are far too expensive to put on crisis suits,

being only T4, Str 8 or higher will double though them out and not allow them to roll for FNP.

Much cheaper to use a normal commander, give him iridium armor for T5 and let him tank all the shots.

Also your TL fusion suits have 5 peices of gear on them and are limited to 3. (twin linking something counts as 2 slots)

So would you suggest keeping the TL fusion blasters on two of them and then use the item that gives them split fire?
