Sooooo, I started an Ork army last week, or rather decided to. I've managed to get hold of a few different units second hand, some bits painted but mostly primed or bare plastic.

I'm pretty excited to get going with Orks as i've always loved the models. This is only my second army ever, and my first xeno army. My first was space wolves however due to hitting a wall, I did the only natural thing and decided to start a new army, one with a bit more fun involved TBH.

Anywho, I don't get much chance to paint as it is, but hopefully this new venture will help spark my creative fires!.

First model to start recieving paint (albeit a small amount due to work) is my painboy. Great model. I'm trying to paint in a way thats quicker for me as i'm so slow anyway, yet still gives decent results. The skin is just Waagh flesh base, athonion camoshade and then a Skarsnik green drybrush and i'm pretty happy with how it looks. I'm not aiming for anything mega, It'd just be nice to have a full painted army for once in my life lol.
On his awesome stabby cut slicer i've only done the silver base, agrax wash and then a few copper elements to it. Still want to add some blood for the blood god and maybe some extra hints of rusting.

any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks....... and so it begins!

Will do. Plenty to crack on with that for sure!

I fear my "I've lost my creative flow so ... I'll start a horde army" logic may be flawed ....

Feck logic though eh!
