There have been arguments on this forums and other whether you can summon models that are techincally in your graveyard. GW just released facts and this one was answered..... YES you can.

This isn't MTG or Yugioh. There is no such thing as a "graveyard" and there never has been

Yup!

There is pretty much no restrictions at all on were summoned models come from, nor is there any restriction on summoners summoning more summoners that summon more summoners etc...

I would have liked to have seen a distinction here but it looks like GW is using a basic rule of "Dont be a D1ck!" to balance summoning in AoS.

Works for me as that would be the first and last game that opponent got from me

I put graveyard in quotes for a reason because that is one term I seen people use, if you don't like, guess what? I don't care. You are probably just butt hurt about the rule anyways.

Ya I definitely hear you. I think they are leaving it up to the tournament hosts to regulate that.

The FAQ might be wrong on this one. On the one hand, I like the simplicity of just summon anything. On the other hand, calculating a minor victory requires counting "models removed from play." If you resummon models, how do you count the models removed from play?

Best to keep a running tally imo.

Lets say I bring 3 wizards to start with on the table (just to keep this simple). I summon up 3 different 10-model units. The moment you kill 4 or more of any of the 30 new units you have basically qualified for a minor victory as you have removed the equivalent of over 100% of my starting models. I would never be able to top that percentage during the game unless you were also able to bring models onto the table. Just because a player resummons a unit to the battle doesn't mean you don't get to count it for the purposes of minor victories. If anything it could cost the summoning player the game.

"If it has not been possible to fight a battle to its conclusion or the outcome is not obvious, then a result of sorts can be calculated by comparing the number of models removed from play with the number of models originally set up for the battle for each army. Expressing these as percentages provides a simple way to determine the winner. Such a victory can only be claimed as a minor victory. For example, if one player lost 75% of their starting models, and the other player lost 50%, then the player that only lost 50% of their models could claim a minor victory.

Models added to your army during the game (for example, through summoning, reinforcements, reincarnation and so on) do not count towards the number of models in the army, but must be counted among the casualties an army suffers. "
