Hello everyone. I'm new here, I'm interested Wh40k for 13 years, I play some but definitely I am more modeller and painter than a gamer
Here are some of my last works (Horus Heresy characters), most of them are kitbashes made of plastic GW parts, FW bits and other resin parts producers.
Later I'll add some more figures from my Wh40k armies

Saul Tarvitz - EC captain, everyone who read the HH books knows him

Loyal Iron Warrior sargeant from 51st Expeditionary Fleet, warsmith Dantioch's Grand Battalion.

Hibou Khan's legionary, White Scars, ambush on Dwell

Blood Angels sargeant, Signus Cluster battles

Luna Wolves assault legionary, Great Crusade (yes, he attacked the enemy with deactivated chainsword )

No probs I especially like the second one, the yellow/black stripe motif is a hard one not to over-do, but here it works perfectly, I love how you've worked it into the design of the right shoulder pad, did you come up with that yourself?

Yeah, yellow/black stripes freehand is hard to paint, but he's a veteran and I wanted to make something closer to traditional sargeant's ribbons (3 black chevrons) and then came an idea to connect it with tactical squad's arrow.

Thank You very much for good words

As I said, today I show You SM chapter I've created in 2007 - Dark Praetorians
Chapter founded in M.34, based on Iron Hands but in traditions similar to Ultramarines (Roman names, Roman imperial symbols like Emperor's Hand in laurel - sign of Praetorian Guard in ancient Rome)
Stylised skull in laurel is the chapter's second badge - symbol of censure honoured after penal crusade in M.36 and used alongside hand in laurel. A lot of them are kitbashes and converted models, I will post in few weeks the new stuff painted for my chapter. I hope You like them

Chapter's armour colour scheme - I wanted something humble and based on white and Citadel Foundation Paint "Fenrisian Grey", nice blue shade of grey.

Modelling competition in 2014 - few troops and vehicles from Cohorta IV (4th company)

4th company commander - captain Diokletian

Cohorta IV standard bearer

Assault Cohort commander - captain Traian

Dark Praetorians' librarians

Chapter's First Chaplain - Julian "The Apostate"

Chief Apothecary, brother Hipocret

Trooper from Techmarine Detachment

Terminators (now only two to show)

Sargeants, veterans...

Troops, devastators, scouts...

Heavt suff...

Land Raider "Fulgoris"

Rhinos...

Razorback

Vindicator "Fiat Iustitia"

Land Speeder

I really like the predator mod with the more forward turret. For some reason that silhouette really works.

How did you do the effect on the necron weapon? It is really good and looks proper xenos-y and repurposed rather thamn imperial

I've put some bright green paint inside the lines and then gently painted whole sword with dark green using flat brush

And here is my latest Deathwatch figure - Crimson Fists Librarian with nickname "Kiler" (from polish movie )
I tried to make a pose that shows unleashing lethal energy using a skull of a hero
He's a kitbash made of SM, GK, AoS and some other small bits.

Thanks a lot for Your opinions

Here's StormTalon made for WH40K-competition. It's converted Dark Talon/Nephilim. Below is DW Champlain converted from old metal-made Cassius and turned into Blood Angel, which IMO fits better for assault trooper
