Prince was an avid 40K player. I propose everyone paint a Space Marine or other figure purple and put it in their army for a month.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

I was not aware of that. I wonder which army or armies? That aside, he will be missed as he was a great entertainer.

Painting a purple skinned Daemon Prince would probably be appropriate, right? Or a 30k Emperor's Children unit?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

Rip the original party man.
"Gentlemen, let's broaden our minds. Lawrence. "

As to the idea of painting a purple model, I don't like it.
It's a bit of a copycat of the 'Paint a blue model for autism awareness'.
Too many similar campaigns start to lose their significance, can anyone remember what those rubber wristbands stand for these days? They're everywhere in every colour under the sun now and have been appropriated by sports clubs, bands and all sorts of commercial junk and are virtually meaningless.
It's nicer to come up with something a bit more original and heartfelt.
Anyway, soon we'll run out of colours the way this year is going.
Just my 2 cents.

He sure was a funky melon-fether though.

Everyone: No.

Despite the weak wargaming link I'm moving this to the OT forum.

Since he apparently died from the consequences of an overdose and him refusing to stay at the hospital because he couldn't get a private room, I think the best way to remember him is to paint a Rainbow Warrior Space Marine with a battle standard with "Darwin's Award * Prince 1958 - 2016" written on it.

Is there any proof or documentation or anything indicating that he actually played 40k? I know of several famous people who played but Prince was never a name I heard.
