Hey everyone so I picked up dark vengeance so I could get the termites, bikes, lib, and the gaming accessories but I have no need for the chaos bits

Would this be a fair trade?

All chaos bits excluding the special commander that's included with the Box for either a Deathwing terminator box or black knight box

The special chaos HQ for baliel

I think the second one might be asking to much

Your thoughts and suggestions?

It's quite easy to look at the online prices and compare them individually. It's harder, but not impossible to judge the points/rules between them to see which one is better.

So really it boils down to whether or not both people are happy with the trade and if they are, then I would say it's fair.

The switch for Belial is probably a bit much to ask for, but the request for trading the full chaos side for a single DW or BK box sounds reasonably fair. Might be a couple dollars off either way, but relatively fair.

The CSM Lord in there(the one done up like the Chosen) is worth more than Belial IMO. I've been able to sell him before for $30.

Direct from GW, Belial is £15, whilst the Chaos Champion is £12.

Now, is the rest of the Chaos stuff worth £30-35? Maybe? Helbrutes and Chosen are certainly not heavily used units, Cultists are useful and the ones from DV are the easiest way to get them. It's certainly cheaper than buying the units separately (though the Chosen aren't available, and the Cultists lack some of the DV options in their box), but consider that DV is £65 - any decent online shop will get you 15-20% off of that, and you're asking for more than half of that final total (since you're keeping the rules, dice etc.), would leave me reluctant to that exchange.

We're not talking about the "Chaos Champion" model that they packaged in later DV boxes.

Just to note; I marked down Fair Trade, but what makes something a Fair Trade doesn't always mean exact dollar figures, but how much a player wants or doesn't want something. So, this may seem fair, but if the other person doesn't want half of the Chaos stuff in the trade.. Or perhaps they really need Belial and/or the termies, and don't want to give them up. Suddenly you're asking for too much.

That said, on the surface, definitely a fair trade.

All the individual squads go for about 10£ on eBay.

Easy:

Someone wanted him bad, I had him unbuilt on sprue and they weren't thinking about eBay.

No I'm talking about the model they added in later the one that comes with his own data sheet and a combi bolted and 2 axes, I'm asking for a baliel for him
