LOW are allowed however, it is only one Gargantuan or Super Heavy unit per team and my partner is playing Orks with a Stompa so I forfeit the Wraithknight. The aim of my list to is to secure objectives and provide supporting fire where needed with the bikes and the Flyers are there for anti-air support as well as maintaining survivability, can provide high st and low ap; while my partner controls the centre, killing random stuff with his Stompa accompanied with two units of tankbustas in Gun Wagons (he also has 2 units of grots for his objective cards). The Stompa has 2 Hellstorm Flamers and the 7" Blast strength D weapon.

Here is the list, please tell me your thoughts and suggest alterations or tweaks as well as strategies if you want to!

Only one Crimson Hunter per Detachment may be upgraded to an Exarch (a Formation is a Detachment).

So, 40 points to play with... Not alot we can do with that. Spirit Stone for the Farseer / extra Windriders... /shrug

So I am not sure that this means 1) only one is allowed to be upgraded as you suggest or 2) At least one must be upgraded to an Exarch?

Perhaps this is something to ask in the general discussion?





(Also - the custom rules for the tournament states that a detachment must be allowed to 'fit into the CAD detachment' if you could take them as part of a CAD in the first place, so my three fast attack slots are taken up, meaning I couldn't take any others even though it technically classes as a separate detachment)

Looks like your list is exactly whats needed to back up a regenrating stompa

That's the formation restriction, check out the actual Exarch upgrade on page 126.
