Subject: [500] - White scars - Escalation campaign

Hi all, my local GW will be holding a 40k escalation campaign next month starting at 500 points and gradually increasing. I am going to enter my white scars and have come up with the following list (I have no idea what anyone else will be playing as I haven't had a game there for years):
Hunting force
Kor'sarro Khan + Moondrakken
Attack bike + MM
Bike Squad + 1 extra biker + 2 grav guns + melta bombs
Bike Squad + 1 extra biker + 2 flamers + melta bombs
Scout Bike Squad + cluster mines + grenade launcher
Comes to 497 points
As the points level increase I'm going to add more bikes, a command squad (gravs), a chapter master, a spear tip strike and a librarius conclave to turn it into a scarblade strike force.
Thoughts?

My recommendation is, for now, drop the attack bike (you're almost asking for first blood) and the scout bikes and swap them for a couple of razorbacks in the FA slot and try to squeeze heave weapons for them so you can threaten armor. Your antitank is basically 6 shots that have a 1/6 of stripping a hullpoint, 2 attacks (at S8 AP1, yeah, but it's only a single attack) in CC and a single non TL S8 AP1 shot at 24''. Pick the lascannon and tl plasma gun so you can vomit more fire and thus threaten harder armor.

Thanks for the feedback. However, I don't own any razorbacks and probably won't be able to buy any in time for the campaign. Anyway, I doubt I'll be seeing too much heavy armour at 500 points.
How do you think the hunting force formation will perform at a low point level? Should I use a different formation or a CAD?

Uff... barring the reclamation legion I doubt any of the decurion cores are workable in points levels lower than 750pts, and that one is because you need no upgrades. I could be wrong since I've never tried the hunting force.
