So I took a somewhat lengthy hiatus from WH40K since 5th Ed. I am now playing Necrons primarily as I always wanted to but was heavily invested in CSM. Now that those models are mostly lost post-divorce move, I am rebuilding.

I have a question regarding Forge World and Imperial Armour. In standard non-epic/apoc WH40k games can I run IA units such as the Nightshroud Bomber?

Forgeworld is much more commonly accepted across all styles of play these days. Obviously it depends on your venue but chances are you'll have no trouble.

Now would running a Nightshroud Bomber wreck my Decurion? Or would running it as an Allied Detachment or some such preserve the Decurion?

You would not be able to run a Decurion and the FW unit without going Unbound. You'd have to go with a standard CAD. Given this, most of your opponents will probably beg that you run the bomber, tbh.

Probably.... The Decurion I minmaxed is something like 2 units i put in get 3+ sv (reroll fail) / 4+ (reroll rols of 1) RP. Not broken at all...
