I'm still in the process of creating my Red Scorpions Skyhammer force, but seeing as I still need 2 Drop Pods to complete it, I'm wondering what competitive builds I can make with what I already have until I can complete the Skyhammer.

Here's what I have so far:

Chapter Master
Severin Loth
Command Squad with various upgrades

1x Sternguard Squad - 4x Combi-Grav, 1x Grav Cannon

2x Dreadnought - Lascannon
1x Dreadnought - Assault Cannon

5x 5-man Tactical Squads + Lascannon
2x 10-man Tactical Squads - Missile Launcher and Plasma Gun

2x Assault Marine Squads + Flamer

1x Devestator Squad - 4x Heavy Bolters
1x Devestator Squad - 4x Multi Meltas

1x Drop Pod

3x Vindicare Assassin
2x Culexus Assassin
3x Callidus Assassin
2x Eversor Assassin

2x Knights - Weapons interchangeable with magnets.


The Skyhammer list I'm in the process of making appears to be rather competitive, but what could I put together with this in the meantime? I'm not necessarily asking for super-duper competitive, but semi would be good. I'd also like the give the Knights a go, as I've yet to use one in a game.

Well no competitive Skyhammer will have Heavy Bolters, so that's your first mistake.

Otherwise, Red Scorpions are one of the best choices for doing the Battle Demi-Company. Yeah your Sergeant could be sniped out, but regular FNP makes them even better for objectives.
