I made a few adjustmnets into my list against the nids. Both of us will bring formations (and I'm sure he will bring far more than me).

HQ:
1) Farseer with bike, spear and the stone. 135pts

Troops:

1) 13 guardians, an EML, a warlock with spear and a wave serpent (which will be used to ferry another unit with obsec) with Tl brightlance, vectored engines, ghostwalk matrix, holofields and a shuriken cannon. 352pts
2) 5 scatter bikes and a warlock on a jetbike. 185pts

Elites.
1) 5 wraithblades with axe and shield. 150pts

HS:
1) A nightspinner with a shuriken cannon. 110pts
2) A wraithlord with 2xflamers and 2xbrightlances. ghostglaive. 165pts

Formation: Aspect shrine. 396pts
5 reapers, exarch. All starshot missiles. 180pts
5 dire avengers with exarch wielding a shimmershield and ps. 95pts
6 swooping avengers with exarch wielding a sunrifle. 121pts

I do believe you mean Swooping Hawks not Swooping Avengers? Haha.

The list is good for friendlies but thats it. Let me know what sort of game your looking to have before I make suggestions. (It's just more efficient that way)

We are going for a semi-friendly game (and yeah... it was swooping hawks).

To make the list more competitive, I would:

Take out the Avengers and replace them with Warp Spiders.

Replace the Wraithlord and wraithblades for a Wraithknight (But if you agreed not to use it because its too powerful then thats fine)

Take out the extra 3 Guardians and put THEM in the Wave Serpent (I assume you were going to put the Dire Avengers in there?)

If so, then maybe replace the Wraithblades with Wraithguard and put them in the Wave Serpent? The Guardians would be able to hold back on an objective if this was the case.

If you have the extra bikes, have 2 or 3 squads of 3 instead of the one group of 5. It increases the options you have and makes it more difficult for your opponent to deal with. However, if you are set on using the Warlock then keep the bigger squad.

Maybe some wraithguard w/ d-scythes if you don't wanna go wraithknight. Should toast his hordes and MCs alike.
