I recently got a box of wyches that I plan on using as bloodbrides, and was wondering what, if any, situations they are superior to Incubi in.

Nope. Bloodbrides are garbage. They'll take less damage from Grav weapons, but that's not much of a defense when they have the most pitiful offense.

Slayer is correct. Incubi surpass brides in every way.

That's unfortunate I was hoping they could be useful for something.

Wyches are six ounces of cold diarrhea in a four ounce dixie cup. Bloodbrides are six ounces of overcosted cold diarrhea in a four ounce dixie cup.

Incubi are a much better CC unit. In my opinion, Grotesques are better still.

A wych kit has one really good use: converting them into Harlequins, which makes for a simple conversion that looks awesome and saves you money.

They may have some specific situational cases where they perform better on average, but they're rare as hell.

Wyches are cripplingly fragile to overwatch, lack a reliable way of getting through heavy armour, and whilst they get a lot of attacks, even with drugs they've only got a so-so WS or S.

Yes, they have a 4++ save in melee, but Incubi have a 3+ armour which whilst it can be taken off them, provides better actual protection against most 'normal' opponents. Plus, Incubi have a simple, easily defined role - they're fast, cost-efficient, and utterly murder space marines (or anything that looks like space marines) in a one-for-one melee fight.

For wyches to be better, you'd need something which ignores armour saves but is vulnerable to S3-4 attacks and doesn't have decent armour saves itself....I guess Genestealers and Harlequins might qualify, but if you're trying to beat Genestealers and Harlequins by engaging them in assaults then you are absolutely doing it wrong

There used to be more tactical definition between the two; when Wyches could carry haywire grenades en masse, and when they got fleet but Incubi didn't, there was a meaningful distinction. Now......yeah. they're just flat out worse.

Only thing Wyches have over Incubi are Assault Grenades but you can mitigate that.
