Since the 7th edition update, the Deepstrike rule is now in the Terminator Armor section. Does this mean I can take a Librarian, put him in Terminator Armor, and Deepstrike him with a regular squad?

Terminator armour can always deep strike.

As for the 'regular squad'... they must also have terminator armour, and honestly I can't remember if they are able to deep strike together, or via separate rolls. I haven't used termies in ages.

Does the regular squad have the Deep Strike special rule? From Deep Strike (pg. 162, main rulebook):

In order for a unit to be able to Deep Strike, all models in the unit must have the Deep Strike special rule and the unit must start in Reserve.

Yes, Deathwing Terminators have the Deep Strike rule per their armor. This is just a weird change from 6th, as only the Deathwing had the rule, not the armor itself.

Quick side note: If one person has Preferred enemy, the whole squad gets it, right?

The Preferred enemy, rule is quite clear on this.

Check the Special Rules Chapter, Preferred Enemy section, 2nd Graph, 3rd sentence.

Incorrect. All models in the unit must have the Deep Strike rule in order voluntarily Deep Strike. It's in the very first sentence of rules for Deep Strike.

Again, Incorrect. You can put a TDA Librarian in a Jump Assault Squad and they can Deep Strike. Nothing in the TDA entry requires the unit to all have it to use it.

Not according to the copy I have access to.

Terminator armour confers a 2+ Armour Save and a 5+ Invulnerable save. Furthermore, models in Terminator Armour have the Bulky, Deep Strike and Relentless specail rules, and may not make Sweeping Advances.

Deep Strike has been an integral component of Termiantor Armour for as far back as I have collected codices (3rd edition, at least, I can't remember if 2nd Edition did, I only had Chaos of that print). Part of the reason for that is not everyone who can wear it have it by default, such as Librarians and Chaplains, and there are no separate entries for them to just place it on their list.

Wolves in 3rd and 4th.

Basically Wolves before the current(2) codex.

They were the only ones who couldn't teleport in on account of distrusting that witchery of teleporting(you know, cause they are backwards space vikings)

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
