Has anyone used these? Thinking about getting some for Rhinos and maybe Shoulder Pads. Getting decals is harder than expected.

I have. I really liked them. Well worth it.

Awesome! Are they suitable for shoulder pads as well, or just flat surfaces like Rhinos?

Shall have to paint on them regardless..

Yes, they are good brass. If you want to learn how and what you can use brass on, that is not a super short answer, I would suggest looking it up and checking out some tutorials.

It very much depends on each individual piece as to what tey can be used for

I have the GK, BA and small Aquila sheets. Doing a rough comparison with those in mind the FT sheet seems to be comprised of pieces that would generally be too big to go comfortably/aesthetically pleasingly on regular marine infantry. Those crux icons with the buzzsaw in the middle are big enough to cover almost the whole width of a MK. IV dreadnought panel going by similar pieces on other sheets. Doesn't look like there's anything appreciably smaller than that, so vehicle panels, flat(ish) banners, shields and anything else flat you can think of are going to be the best bet. Especially as few, if any, of them look suited to being bent roudn a curved surface.

If you're looking for the chapter symbol for shoulder pads maybe give these a go: http://www.shapeways.com/product/4WBAJZMJJ/flesh-terrors-standard-shoulder-x10?li=search-results-1&optionId=57301775

I got one as part of a Deathwatch set, was very impressed. The pads are a little shallower than GW ones, so you might have to trim down the mounting area of the marines arm or file out some more of the pad for a better fit.
