CAD 2:
Bloodthirster of Insensate rage
Masque of Slaanesh

Looking for C&C on this list. Weaver is an autoinclude in any Daemon list. Heralds join screamers to make a resilient star/board control unit. Horrors have OS and camp on home objectives, add WC, and summon/witchfire if needed. Knight Paladin can be buffed by grimoire if needed, stomps help take care of stars, and cannon can help clear units. Bloodthirster adds some more D swings into the list, and is currently what I am most unsure about. Masque helps lock up Deathstars for my units to charge. Nurglings will infiltrate to throw blind grenades or deepstrike in for objectives as needed.

Aftermath can be calculated.

I like the target saturation. I do believe Fateweaver is even better with the new Daemonic Incursion formation from the Wulfen book though. The ability to both reroll the warpstorm table AND add or subtract 1 gives you a huge chance to get +1 invul. I don't know how you would fit it in your list though. I honestly think you don't need both the Bloodthirster AND the Knight, but just one of them. Tallyband is probably the cheapest core for the formation since you are running 2 squads of nurglings anyways. The problem I have found is if you are not putting grimoire on the screamerstar, it is usually blown up turn 1 even with jink. The same thing goes with the Bloodthirster unless you roll awesome gifts (4+ FNP and reroll invul). MSU is doing better in the current competitive environment due to ranged Str D everywhere. One six and your 300 point models go poof. Fateweaver is usually ok with a 4++ and flying with 1 reroll a turn. The Knight might be more durable than the Bloodthirster which really needs invisibility to survive.

My two cents.

Personally I think the new incursions are much better than the CAD for a variety of different reasons.

As Drakkol mentioned, Fatey + Incursion is a 55% chance of getting a 10 on the warp storm table every turn. That's just bonkers in how good it is!

I also think the that the knight + thirster + screamerstar is a bit much. What do you buff with the grimorie? You have so many high priority targets that anything not buffed will just be targeted for demolition.
