Remember that nid player I was going to fight on friday? Woop deedo, he can't , so I have a space wolf player as an opponent.

This is the list I'm planning on bringing on him:

Formation. Aspect host:
6xswooping hawks, exarch with sunrifle. 116pts
5x dark reapers. exarch and unit with starshot. 180pts
3x shinning spears, exarch with starlance. 95pts

HQs:
1) Farseer skyrunner with spear and stone of anathlan. 135pts (I think i'll roll on telepathy this time, will see on basis of what he'll bring).

Troops:

1) 3 scatter bikes and a warlock. 131 pts
2 5 dire avengers with an exarch using the shimmershield: 95pts DT wave serpent with TL bright lance, shuriken cannon, ghostwalk matric and holofields. 159pts
3 10 guardian defenders with warlock with singing spear, EML. 160pts

Heavy support:
1) Nightspinner with holofields. 115pts
2) Wraithlord with ghostglaive double brightlances and double flamers. 165pts

Do you think he'll go really competitive or not? If he brings a nasty deathstar or a ton of drop pods because he think's he's playing against a hardcore Eldar list, this may not go well...

If you have the chance ask him how competitive he wants to play before making a list because I'm getting very bad vibes this will be t2 tabling of someone's brought the wrong style list.

Both things will be experimental, so we can try new things. Don't know about competitivity but he'll bring a formation.

Honestly, I would strongly recommend not taking shining spears, putting the Dire Avengers in the Aspect Host.

I also believe that taking a Wraithlord is not going to go very well for you because Space Wolf claws etc while having inv saves, the Lord is going to be taken down extremely easily. Replacing this was maybe another Wave Serpent for the Guardians might be worthwhile.

As always, the more bikes the better but again this depends on how friendly a game it is.

For those interested in the game, I won. It was a hard fought battle but at the end of turn 6 I won by 20 to 14.

It was epic. My farseer killed TWO dreadnoughts (one with the axe+shield combo) in close combat.
