So I was looking at getting some dark eldar when I came across the haemonculus covens. I managed to get a hold of a copy from someone else at my local gw and I liked what I saw. So I wrote up a couple of lists and I was wondering which is better? Personally I prefer the first one but which one is actually stronger?

List One
Covenite Coterie:

So which is better and what improvements could be made?

I would say the 2nd is better since you can null deploy, but I would maybe drop the vex. mask, nightmare doll and ichor injector from the artisan. Then possibly give the talos a liquifier gun, haemie a webway portal.

I don't really like the liquifier gun personaly, it seems unreliable. I also dont like the webway portal as the earliest I can charge with the formation when deepstriking is turn 3, later if I get unlucky with the reserves. It just doesn't appeal to me.

I'd say the first one looks stronger. It can keep up with each other whereas the Dark Artisan is durable but slow in comparison to the rest of the army.

I would either trim it down to a Grotesquire formation or the upgrades elsewhere.

It might seem like your anti tank is limited but remember that it's more than the first list, Grotesques are S5 against rear armour 10 and Haemonculus' can go up to AV12 with their Rending attacks.

Anti-Armour was not something I had thought about. It completely slipped my mind when writing the lists. I like the changes made and I think the added protection from the raiders will be appreciated by the grots, as well as the anti armour and speed.
