I have posted several variations of this list before but I think now I'm finally getting it optimized after having played several games with it, winning all but one which was a draw. Granted I havnt faced Tau, Necrons or Eldar in any of those game but still.

What I'm mainly wondering with this list is the Daemon Prince and if I'm using him right. I have him as an allied daemon detachment, hence the one squad of nurglings. My plan with him is to take Lash of Despair and try and get Iron Arms off on the Biomancy tree, giving me 2D6 str 9 attacks to take down tanks and flyers with ease, while also having the option to duel other monstrous creatures and take a greater ether blade. I assume this is the best way of doing this.

As for the rest of the army, Lucius, the sorcerer and the 8 man noise marine squad go in the dreadclaw, the sonic dreadnought and 10 man noise marine squad shoot stuff, obbies walk down through the center with the nurglings to get objectives and just kill things in general, heldrake takes 4 turns to come in.

Taking the sorcerer is more situational. If I feel the enemy main combat squad is scary enough, I take him for the buffs and the maledictions he can put out. Otherwise, I have a squad of nurgle bikers with meltas to drive up and take out tanks by turn 2. They're literally just a squad with two meltas and as many bikers as I can fit in for the same price as the sorc.

I like to think of this as my more competitive list, though I understand you can only be so competitive with CSM. Oh and, I know Lucius isnt optimal, but taking a chaos lord with upgrades worth having dosnt leave me with a substantial amount of more points, and the doom siren on Lucius, combined with the sorcerer's malediction as well, very much makes up for it in my opinion.

Anyway, lets here's the list:
