So, based on a friend's very good suggestion, I've decided to paint my Dark Eldar skimmers/flyers to look as much like Firefly/Serenity's Reavers as possible. Now, I know this has been done a couple of times, but I haven't seen it done a ton of times. So, I'm kinda picking and choosing and going in blind a little. While it'd probably help to watch something like Serenity again, the screenshots I can find on the web show the Reaver ships looking mostly unpainted (like bare metal) with the exception of tribal symbols painted onto them in what is probably, most likely blood from their victims. So, this is the way I plan to paint them as well as some early photos.

Undercoat: Chaos Black Primer
Base Coat: Leadbelcher
Layer: Ironbreaker
Tribal Blood Markings: Khorne Red
Wash: Nuln Oil (heavy to give it a very grungy, dirty look)
Highlight: Ironbreaker
Blood Splatter: Blood for the Blood God (for effect)
Weathering: Skavenblight Dinge and Runefang Steel

Three of the four skimmers (Back Left: Ravager, Back Right: Raider, Front: Venom) primed with GW Chaos Black Primer and based with Leadbelcher
