Started a knight army finally, firstly because I think they're cool and secondly because of time constraints on hobby time with life and all that a nice low count army like this broken into a few big products should suit me well.

Here's some WIP shots of the Gallant to start off.






Decided I'll be running it as the leader so wanted to give it the stormspear pod so it's not just a point filler and can instead reach out at other units still if there's nothing in range for it. The melta gun is basically there to fill in the last couple of points though, but I think out of the main knights it's really the only one that could even make decent use of it.

And here it is completed.








I pretty much took the ideas I had before for Adeptus Mechanicus and just put them to this army, worked on the emblem a bit more to make it look better I think. Each knight will have personal heraldry to make them stand out a bit more too, really on a low count army like this there's no real excuse not to give each of them more attention with some background stuff so trying to work on that a bit as well. So far I have the names and the personal heraldry fitting in with the ideas I have at least; will help keep it themed a bit more.

Liking it so far-- The bases are pretty neat, can really see the weight of the Knight in them with how they're made.

This is the second knight so far, taking my time with them really.

Thinking of whether to actually build an Errant after all of not since this is what I came up with for a 1850 list.
