Ghastly Grave Guard

Hey all, I'm looking to start a side-project of a Blood Angel successor Chapter. My main force "themes" are Crimson Fists, Battle for Armageddon and Space Wolves. Are there any BA successors who have had contact with these? I'm really drawn to the Angels Vermilion just by name alone as it reminds me of Vermilion City in Pokemon. I don't really know what shade Vermilion is though and how I could differentiate it from the normal BA scheme.
I was also hoping for an older Chapter (2nd founding possibly) because I wanted to incorporate some Mk4 armour from the BaC set. Any suggestions?

If you do a Google image search on Vermilion you will see it is sort of orangey-red

Vermilion is the classic (Blood Red) Blood Angel colour, they were even described as such back in 1st edition. Angels Vermilion are problematic however: They first appeared along with the Angels Encarmine back in 2nd edition's Codex: Angels of Death which had a number of obvious editorial mistakes, one of which was that the Angels Vermilion were the carmine coloured chapter whilst the Angels Encarmine were vermilion. GW has occasionally tried to rectify this error but for the most part have continued it.

The first thing that popped into my head was flesh tearers. Cool colour scheme, cool iconography.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

I think I'll go with a DIY hybrid/ homebrew. Probably Angels Vermillion colours but Flesh Tearers pattern (different coloured torso/ backpack, etc) to break it up a little. Most games I'm probably going to run them as Raven Guard anyway... Lol
