I wouldnt bother with Be'lakor. The main benefit he gives you is auto invisibility, but Fateweaver would be better in your list to give your knight a reroll on the grimoire.

Also, he has THIRTEEN powers. 3 each head, 7 from Tzeentch. Thats a lot of utility on top of that reroll.

But WAIT theres more! In addition to that, Fateweaver allows you to reroll the winds of chaos, with the detachment bonus of +/-1 this gives you huge control over what happens. (I haven't done the math, but I heard someone say that it is a 55% chance of getting the beloved 10 result) *citation needed.

That would leave you with 70 points to play with. My suggestion would be getting another avenger gatling cannon for 50 points on your knight for some much needed shooting to clear Eldar jetbikes and other ap3 (Dogs can't clear it as easily as you think...). Use the last 20 points for a greater gift on the thirster.

EDIT: I see that your knight has the battle cannon. Trust me when I say to use the avenger cannon. Also, the Dsword isnt as great as a second gun, because against virtually all targets s10 ap2 swings is nearly identical to D, and you still have stomps for the stars.

Aftermath can be calculated.

Dark humor is like food, not everyone gets it.

Lord Commissar is right. Fateweaver is best in this case.

If you can play with the daemon knights from forgeworld, they also can benifit from the +1 on the table. The tzeentch one in ITC is bonkers with how hard it is to kill when its rocking a 2++ rerollable.

Just make sure you field a DAEMON Knight and not a RENAGADE Knight. Grimiore only works on Daemons, which the Renegade Knight is NOT.

Daemon Knight = Fateweaver is best
Renegade Knight = Belakor is best (because you can still cast Invisibility)

Man, 350 points just for a guaranteed invis?
There has to be a better solution. I'm not sure what it is, but there has to be one.

I have had a ton of luck with the murder horde all those flesh hounds really do work. The knight is a nice shooting option, i my self use a forge host with it instead, but a knight isn't a bad choice by any means. I do however agree with the others, I love Be'lakor but I always have a hard time justifying his points. Fate weaver always seems to do more work for me and tends to survive more. Not to mention that D spell.

I might also suggest taking one of those flesh hound packs and adding some models to it, I know you will have to find some points but I have found having one blob of 8-10 hounds at least to run with your harold tends to do more work. And can also draw alot of fire, to take some pressure off your Knight and thirster. I have also had alot of luck with Karanak and attaching him to the big hound blob. Parles against any double makes people think twice before rolling a bunch of dice at any one power. Which increases their chance of failing.

Well, you also get Shrouded for the D-Thirster, so there is that. And Belakor can hold his own in combat if needed. Something that FW cannot say.

In this list it's a toss up, meaning FW usually wins since most players favor his reliability. I prefer Belakor, but that's mostly for the above reasons and fluff of my army (undivided).

Can't blame you for fluff reasons. But fluff usually kills "ultra competitive" which is what most where commenting on.
