So, lets say I take a cyclopia cabal. 3 Sorcerers, all black legion. I also have a KDK detachment with a squad of Khorne hounds. One of my sorcerers rolls on sanctic daemonology. SInce the sorc can join the unit, is there anything preventing my daemons from benefiting from say, hammerhand or sanctuary?

Because if my daemons are holier than thou, I think thats hilarious.

Indeed they do. The only people without access to sanctic as I understand it is Daemons.

...Wow I was expecting it to say non-daemon models but...yeah. You can totally cast Hammerhand on a Daemon unit.

The problem is more that you can use hammerhand and the invul save power, maybe use the two witchfiers, but most likely won't get any use out of the two other powers or the primaris.

So, while hilarious, I think the use is limited. =/

Why would you not get any use out of the other powers?

3 are witchfires. The psyker, who is not a daemon, casts them. No problems.

Gate is a blessing that targets the psyker, who is not a daemon. The unit is then removed with the target and deepstrikes. No problems.

Sanctuary and hammerhand are the same as gate. No problems.

The primaris is a malediction; functuons like the witchfires: the psyker casts it at a daemon unit: no problem.

If any of the witchfires or the primaris targeted all daemon units; then there would be a problem
